As a material wood has many uses, but did you know that it can be used to make fibres for clothing and other textiles?
The beech tree is quite unique and has grown in Europe for a very long time. Directly from beechwood forests, those fibers give each and every textile a natural image.
LENZING Modal® and MicroModal® Are two naturally
soft and exceptionally ecological fine cellulosic fibers,
by Austrian producer Lenzing, a pioneer when it comes to
wood refineries.
These eco-friendly fabrics are created using a meticulous closed-loop process that conserves energy and creates valuable by-products along the way, like acetic acid used in food, xylose used in sweeteners (remember the chewing gum commercial?) and sodium sulphate used in glass production.
Do you love this fibers already as much as we do? Well there is more, did we mention that they are as soft and light as silk? Yes, we probably did. The fabrics created with these fibers have a sensuous drape and fluidity that wraps the body in the most delicate and luxurious way. Oh, on top, MicroModal and Modal have the same breathability of cotton.
